Amazing perspective there!
Yea it’s rough! And great colors.
What type of cataclism could have made this shear cliff?
Good question. It turns out it was formed more than 400 million years ago, way before the super-continent of Pangaea and the dinosaurs. Fragments of landmasses (today’s Greenland, Scandinavia and Great Britain) smashed violently together, creating the mountain ranges of Norway. And this pulpit rock, too!
Thanks for the update – – – and the trips you take me on. Wally
Anytime. And thanks for joining the trips!
The info at the bottom said formed by a glacier 10 000 years ago, if I remember correctly – but amazing anyways!
Oh, you’re right!! No need to go 400 million years back then 🙂
No prob! ˆˆ
