    • Oh you should!!! It’s one of the few real “have to”s in life I think. It’s the cradle of modern times and western culture – and fully intact as it was five hundred years ago. And it’s one of the biggest in- and outdoors museum of amazing art and architecture – and the revival of the classical age.

And an inspiration ever since… 🙂

    • Thanks, glad you like it! And I’m always very happy about sharing and spreading the beauty of Florence – a shining light of humanism and artistic endeavor at our very best 🙂

    • Ah, such a great and nice comment! Thanks 😀
And I saved up and went for a “Grand Tour” to Italy some years ago – among other things staying in Florence for two weeks – having the time of my life. And the memories almost just grow stronger with the years – it’s amazing.

      • Sounds amazing. My mom’s dream is to go to Italy – so it’s pretty high up on my “if money wasn’t an option” travel list.

      • Gotcha. Once you get there though – everything is so close, and the trains are great for touring around, watching the landscapes and meeting locals.

  1. I love the architecture. Your Italy photos are reminding me of some very important things I need to do in my life: see the world!

    • That’s great! Traveling every once in a while (every seven-eight years f.ex.) is a great joy in life – and the memories stay with you forever.
That said – there’s really no place like Italy… It’s 3.000 years – with the most beautiful history and arts ever made.
And nice to see you here – welcome!
